The National Parks began making music as The National Parks in Provo, Utah in early 2013. In September of that year they released our first album, Young, and (along with our January 2014 standalone single, “As We Ran”) they saw more success than they could have expected for a debut launched with little-to-no idea of what it took to get their music out beyond the local scene. The album climbed to #13 on the iTunes singer/songwriter chart and helped them get on the road to play shows in cities like Seattle, Los Angeles, Chicago and New York and with some really awesome musicians like Andy Grammer, The Lone Bellow, LeAnn Rimes, and The Moth & The Flame.
Pato Banton: Positive Vibrations abound with a beat to keep you on your dancing feet, while Pato delivers a message that is food for the mind and soul. Many have considered his charismatic performance as live theatre where no show is alike and audience members become participants in the experience. Pato dialogues with the crowd on a range of topics including current day events and spiritual freedom while keeping the vibes upbeat and fun! The direction of the concert is totally based on the feedback Pato receives from the audience as there is no fixed set list. Many have said that the positivity generated from the stage has changed their lives forever. Sometimes Pato invites his fans to join him in a prayer circle after the show, where some have cried while sharing their stories of contemplated suicide, isolation after losing a loved one, struggles with substance abuse and how their personal connection with Pato has given them the strength to “Stay Positive” & “Never Give In.”
June Brothers (formerly Henry Wade) is a folk-Rock Americana band that weaves an array of vocal and instrumental harmony together to create a powerful tapestry of emotion. Unique yet classis songwriting gives listeners a taste of Americana music infused with the rugged power of southern rock and the subtle emotion of a lone folk writer.
The band emerged with the 2014 release of “Meet Your Creature”. The album received an honorable mention for local album of the year from local publication City Weekly and described as “warm and woodsy folksy Americana tunes” with “smoky and resonant” vocals.
Their sound has been compared to classic bands like Neil Young, The Marshall Tucker Band and modern bands like Wilco and Ryan Adams.
The June Brothers are currently gearing up for a new record release and a US Tour.
